The mission
The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado is a philanthropic foundation whose mission is to create a Colorado where every person is treated equally and with respect. Our communication techniques promoted the Fund's philanthropic giving, stimulated conversation in Colorado about the contributions of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people, and supported the role of allied relationships. Satellite remote sensing and geographic information systems technologies are used by commercial and government organizations to map, monitor, and manage Earth resources. Communication initiatives for Space Imaging and DigitalGlobe generated worldwide media visibility and promoted these technologies for applications ranging from disaster relief and urban planning, to environmental conservation and land mapping.
Organizational goals at Brown International are to attract new and retain current families, keep Brown on the radar as a viable and successful Denver Public School, and create district support for the International Baccalaureate curriculum. We led communication and marketing initiatives to generate public awareness, promote the IB learning approach and support community building. Read more.
To help attract additional funders to the Piton Foundation's collaborative work and solidify key partnerships with nonprofits and community organizers, we developed materials articulating the foundation's Strengthening Communities program area, social networks initiatives, and collaborative relationships focused on progressive social change.
